I am an Assistant Professor in the School Psychology Specialist program at Fresno State where I teach cognitive assessment, practicum courses, and the introduction to counseling course. I graduated in 2020 with my Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, TX. My research and clinical interests include school-based motivation and engagement, impact of racism & discrimination on identity development and mental health, school climate, and Asian/Asian American mental health.
